Dartmouth Partners in Community Service and Memorial Tree Exemplify Community and Spirit
After a great deal of research and discussion by the Executive Committee, we have decided to update our class projects.
The first is to sponsor a student in the Dartmouth Partners in Community Service (DPCS), a program administered through the Tucker Foundation enabling students to pursue unusual service internships. The DPCS is the gold standard of mentored community service programs, and the only one of its kind at Dartmouth.
The second is to honor the classmates we have lost and their families by commissioning the class to plant an American Elm tree at the new Fahey/McLane dorm cluster at the corner of Tuck Drive and Old Tuck Drive.
